trieste magica opening show

On June, 20 2003, in the wonderful frame of an nineteen century Cafe on the seaside of Trieste, the International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 353 Trieste Magica had his opening ceremony.

Among the city authorities that were present at the evening we would like to remember the United States Consul in Trieste, Mr. Paolo Bearz, the City Council President Mr. Bruno Sulli and the City Council Vice President Mr. Maurizio Ferrara and representatives of various associations such as the Lions. Many written greetings were sent from those who were not able to attend: we would like to remember just the Region Council President, On. Riccardo Illy, Senator Prof. Camerini and Senator Giulio Camber. The ceremony had a good press coverage. Guests of Hounour were Ring 314 Padova President, Mr. Franco Borgo, and Ring 223 Milan Vicepresident, Mr. Tony Mantovani.

Ring activities will be mainly cultural, with special notice to lectures ans exibits on magicians Trieste had in the past.

After a welcome cocktail and the official speech anbout this seventh Italian Ring, Trieste Magica activity started with a opening show. The first on stage was Dave D., with some card magic mixed with comedy: Dave D. was followed by Alucard with some high impact Mental Magic. The show was closed by the always wonderful Nevio Martini, with a stage act with Linking Rings, doves, cards and candles manipulations.

The audience response to the show was very good, with really much interest about this wonderful and magical world.
